Warranty
At Mucky Nutz, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We want you to have complete confidence when purchasing from us, which is why we offer a warranty covering manufacturing defects.
Warranty Coverage
Our warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This applies to all products purchased directly from Mucky Nutz or through authorised stockists or dealers.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

- Manufacturing defects
- Material defects
- Workmanship defects
What's Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage due to misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Improper installation or use
- Modification or alteration of the product
- Damage resulting from accidents or impacts
- Custom printed products, unless faulty upon arrival
Frame Contact, Paintwear & Protective Film
As with any accessory fitted to a bicycle, contact points may, over time, cause cosmetic rubbing or paintwear on the frame or fork. This can occur due to vibration, grit, movement, or normal riding conditions. Such cosmetic wear is considered a normal outcome of use and is not classified as a manufacturing defect and therefore is not covered under warranty.
Riders wishing to minimise cosmetic wear may choose to apply their own protective measures (such as clear frame-protection film or similar products) beneath mounting points. Compatibility and results vary depending on frame materials, paint finishes, lacquers and coatings. Mucky Nutz makes no recommendations, warranties or guarantees regarding such materials or their fitness for any particular frame surface, and accepts no liability for any cosmetic effects resulting from their installation, use, or removal.
We recommend that riders:
- Assess the suitability of any protective film before use
- Test a small hidden area first
- Ensure surfaces are clean before application
- Periodically check installation points for grit or movement
Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product is defective under warranty, please follow these steps:
1. Contact us before returning any item, with:
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos showing the defect
2. Assessment and approval.
We will assess your claim and let you know whether it qualifies under warranty.
3. Return instructions.
If approved, we will provide return instructions. In approved cases, return postage costs will be reimbursed - please retain your postage receipt.
4. Resolution.
Once we receive the product, we will either:
- Repair it,
- Replace it with the same or equivalent product, or
- Refund the purchase price (if repair or replacement is not possible).
Important Notes
- Warranty claims without prior approval will not be accepted.
- We recommend using a tracked or insured service when returning items, as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.
- For purchases made through authorised stockists or dealers, please contact them directly to arrange a warranty claim.
