About Us

Mucky Nutz came about in early 2009 formed by a group of mates, all with a passion for cycling. We thought it would be great idea to design, make, play with and sell a few bike related products. And we're proud to say it's all made in the UK.

We don't expect to become millionaires out of this venture, as our bits aren't made in Taiwan yet we're keeping costs as low as we can. On top of this we're putting what ever dosh we earn, and more, back in to developing more bits. So we're not packing in our full-time jobs just yet!?!?

We all work for or have worked for aerospace and automotive industries and are simply applying our day-to-day skills to develop ideas that come from our own cycling experiences and problems. Some of the stuff is and will be a variation on what's already out there. Other stuff is novel. Whatever, if we think it's worthwhile we'll make it available to you.

We all have our own preferences, level of skill and experience, from the leisurely cruiser to the off-roader and the downhill adrenaline junkie. This simply adds to the range of ideas and products we are looking to materialise.

And as most of us are based in and around the Peak District we are provided with the perfect surroundings for 'in-house' testing, all work and no play.....
